Dr. Evelyn Tom Carter is a native of east county San Diego and received her undergraduate degree in Biology at UC Irvine. She then received her doctorate degree at Colorado State University School of Veterinary and Biological Sciences. Dr. Tom worked in private practice in west Los Angeles for 6 years before moving back to San Diego to start a family. Her passions in life include her three boys, her loving husband and running marathons. Her pets are two Golden-doodles, Jazz and Oliver.
